A national arts competition for school students, whose invitations, registrations and confirmations now run without anyone attending to them.
Second season · in service · unattended operation
The first season was organised by hand. Schools were invited one message at a time and every confirmation was typed by a person. It worked, but the effort grew with every participant, which put a ceiling on how many schools could be approached.
Around 2,700 schools, and four rounds of correspondence written in advance: invitation, reminder, an extension notice and a final call. Each round is loaded with the dates it should run, so the system decides what to send, to whom and when. Daily volume climbs gradually from forty messages to five hundred, which protects the sending reputation of a young domain. Every message is addressed to the school by name, and anyone who opts out is never contacted again.
A three-page form that works on a telephone. It collects the entrant's details and photograph, confirms by email and WhatsApp within seconds, and writes every submission to a register the organisers can open at any time.

Some of what we build sits inside client operations and is not ours to publish. Ask, and where the client is willing we will arrange an introduction.
